Who remembers the holocaust? Or does anybody here knows the holocaust...
Today in class during group discussions, I threw in the word holocaust when we were brainstorming... To my surprise, 90% of my 19-20 yr old classmates didn't even know what it is...
Haiz, never teach this unfortunate event meh?

I I have read about it, the Chinese were treated by those sadist japanese soldiers as if they were lower than an animal...I saw pictures and were horrified by what was done... Unfortunately, not many ppl are aware of the Nanking Massacre and the Japanese govt. has yet to apologise to the victims...

Sadly speaking, much of what we know about hypothermia comes from Mengele's experiments.
By dunking Soviet POWs in freezing water and taking their rectal temperatures as they froze to death, medical science got to know more about the mechanisms behind hypothermia.
It's thoroughly disgusting, and Mengele was undoubtably a devil who sold out on humanity. It poses a real ethical dilemma for medical researchers to use all that info.
