in that case, they are fine. Crown amps or QSC amps are good, at least u werent cheated. the tapco thing, unknown to me, but im just giving my expertise based on doing AVA for as long as cca has been made compulsory :P
woofers... not really needed.. since u dont really have a chance to push the main speakers that far that you need woofers to cover the low end.
one day must visit ur place eh. im still scouting arnd to anyone willing to sell me a pair of altec lansing a7 legacy.
orh, actually i want the woofer and speaker for a reason, my bmb karaoke crap cannot give out the chest pounding bass i wanted, i wan to feel it punching my chestso i need the eq and speaker(for vocal and high frequency) and woofer(tune it to produce the chest pounding bass)
i will try to push the speakers as far as possible, or at least till i feel the strong mid bass
when i buy them i will make a video also, i have video on my comp and home speakers on utube(nick is mypillowtalks also). Why don't you get the good ones and put at home?

at the same time, what amps he giving u? those fancy, full of LEDs karaoke amps or serious PA amps?
professional ones, he tested the suond for me to hear, very impressed, but abit afriad about the price, the speaker is identical to the size of the speaker the school hall uses, and woofer although 15", need at least 600watts, the size bbbbiiiigggg
no fanciful lights, only 1 or 2 green power, a dial to turn, i tink if i seen correctly there is a word "crown" or "QSC" on it, and the dial have sth like +5, +10, then 0 or -5, -10...looks and sound like somthing serioushe also told me about the brand under mackie, called tapco

its not clipping. its due to interference from some components or shielding wasnt done properly. its a high pitched "ssssssssssssssssss" that u sometimes hear on cheap hi-fi, but in this case, its not my speakers, as when i turn off the PC, the hissing disappears. it shows that my integrated audio card is the cause of all this.anyway, ive used to have an "r/d/s" brand sub sitting in the living room, its loud, it plays low, its got a 15" driver, but it doesent really sound that refined. and not to mention it looks like a Borg Cube. :P i just sold it off last month.
i tink it might be the ohboard audiosometimes there will be this annoying interference, not the hissing sound, but the sound when u touch the wire with ur hands, duno how to describe it
im planning to get sound reinforcement speakers, is EV a good brand? the person is charging me 5.7K for a complete set of speakrs and subs and amps and equalizers, is it too expensive? they are all 15inch also, but he say need at least 750watts rms to push it, is he tryign to earn my money?

Im not very sure where to get compressed air, uy can try hardware shops to ask around
i feel that buying compresses air is redundant, as the dust can be easily cleaned off using a brush that children use to draw with, get those with a 'stronger' brush at the front
i use it to clean off dust from the circuit boards, and the thin structure of the brush body manages to squeeze into narrower space between the fan and heatsink

got hissing? me using the realtek azalia HD sound, the hissing sound very prominent on my MX5021. the sound disappears when i shutdown the PC O.o
Mine no hissing, i tink the hissing might be because of clipping, i turn off all sound effects from the taskbar.
WIll it be becuase u overblast, thus the tweeter from the speaker clips?i only have 4 speakers and 2 woofers, but they are quite loud.
Im usiing the BMB karaoke speakers, with 2 centre speaker for stronger vocals
my 2 woofers are both from infinity, 1 is 12" and the other is 10"they are enough for my use
