- Megson rages at dodgy pen:
- Bolton boss Gary Megson has blasted the "nonsense'' penalty decision that cost his side the chance of a point or 3 at Manchester United this afternoon. Ronaldo scored the penalty, paving the way for a 2-0 win and an unhappy Megson.
-
"It was a nonsense decision,'' argued Megson.
"When Rob Styles blew the whistle I thought he was going to book Ronaldo for diving. He did not seem to be sure what he was going to give.
"My thoughts on the tackle were the same as everyone else's in the stadium apart from one man. When the referee sees it again, he will have the same opinion too. It really sticks in the throat.''
It is not the first time Styles has attracted criticism for a debatable penalty decision.
"I don't want him to ring me up,'' added Megson.
"I would have more respect for him if he just holds his hands up and says he was wrong. "If he tried to justify that it will be incredible.
"I don't know if we would have gone on to get something out of the game but we certainly would not have gone 4-4-2 and we would not have made changes to try and score.''
Even Ferguson accepted Styles had got it wrong, although as the official has previously angered the United boss with his decision-making, he does not feel much sympathy.
"I was surprised because it looked as though their lad got a foot on the ball,'' said Ferguson.
"But Rob Styles turned us down four or five times last year so maybe it is payback time. But he still owes us another four.''
Wayne Rooney's another dubious finish 11 minutes from time doubled United's lead, the England striker's first goal of the season a perfect response to being left out of Ferguson's starting line-up.
That is of little consequence to Megson though, having seen an hour's worth of honest endeavour get no reward.
"I want to see the right decisions made,'' said Megson, whose side had the best chance up to that point when Fabrice Muamba fired wide from an excellent position.
"If TV replays take too long then we won't do them but from looking at other sports, TV can do these things.
"They talk about dropping the referee but what does that solve? It is just a symbolic gesture.
"Everybody knows what happened. Jlloyd Samuel won the ball. It is astonishing.''

In a match full of diving opponents fr the diving Reds of Manchester, it little wonder who would be the winners of this match.
Manchester "diving" United beat Poursmouth on penalties as the new Ref, who was exchanged fr the previous one(Clattenburg) ensured ManU-re got the best out of the match!
So now ManU hv another tainted throphy again!

Maybe he start from a good intention at the very begining.
But greater power come with greater repsonisblity as say by spiderman. But he is not spiderman and he as a monk also fall into the " commoner " trap.
With the given power, he try to please too much people along the whole organisation. When a white pcs of paper is stain with a small dot, it will continue to spread and make it black.
He is also over confident of his abilities to manage multi organisation. His greed for fame and glory make him think that he can be sucessful in all business that he try. Thus, when the business entity start to lose money, he need to use Ren ci money to cover up the losses.
He cannot let his devotee know that he is incapable or have weakness. He need to be potray a near " God " status so that they can continue to worship him.
This thing become a circle and he can't get himself out of all these. Now, he is using many lies to cover his one big stack of lies. Good luck to him. Buddha also cant help him now.
BTW, Isn't he a ex-RI boy like Durai ?? Hmmmm.......

Match between 2 Euro08 powerhouse with Germans as underdogs.
started on fast track as both teams attacking furiously. But by half Germans had scored 3 with the third by Ballack while Portugal only hv 1 goal. They manage a second one in dying moments & lost the match to Germans.
Ronaldo again showed his negative side .. during a tangle with Frederich .. he suddenly grimaced in pain after catching the ref's attention ..all the while his 'play acting' captured on camera for millions of viewers to see......
The Red Devils diver then went on with a few other theatherics but of no avail.
...with Portugal's exit from Euro ..perhaps we will be hearing Ronaldo's exit announcement from Old Trafford in the next few days

LONDON, June 17, 2008 (AFP) - Cristiano Ronaldo appears to be edging closer to joining Real Madrid after reports in England on Tuesday claimed the Manchester United winger is ready to demand a transfer after Euro 2008.
Ronaldo has made it clear he would like to sign for the Spanish champions if they meet his wage demands, but United are determined to keep the Portugal winger.
United reported Real to UEFA for trying to unsettle their prize asset but Bernd Schuster's club are still ready to make Ronaldo the highest paid player in the world if he can persuade United to bow to his wishes.
That has led to a stand-off between the two clubs that Ronaldo appears set to resolve himself.
He could be set to hand in a transfer request or even refuse to report for pre-season training according to the Times, who report that Ronaldo told a source he "would do everything in his power to perusade United to sell".
The former Sporting Lisbon star is expected to issue a further statement, outlining his intentions as soon as he finishes with Portugal's Euro campaign.
Ronaldo only signed his current 120,000 pounds a week contract with United 16 months ago but he could expect to at least double that sum if he switched to the Bernabeu.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson claimed earlier this month that he would let Ronaldo rot in the reserves rather than be bullied into selling him.
He is unlikely to be tempted to change his mind by reports that Real are ready to offer Brazil winger Robinho as part of the deal.
With Ronaldo appearently determined to quit, the saga could turn ugly.
The Daiy Mirror reports that a close friend said: "Ronaldo has made his mind up now and feels it is just time to wait before he announces what he will do - which is to go to Madrid.
"The announcement about Cristiano's future will be the next step, but it won't happen until the end of Euro 2008 for him and Portugal.
"He is determined to be the master of his own future. The decision has been made and now it's a case of everybody getting in position for the future - even if United aren't yet ready to sit down and talk to Real."

Real Madrid defender Gabriel Heinze has urged former Manchester United teammate Cristiano Ronaldo to join him in Spain.
He said: "I don't think Ronaldo will get any better as a footballer. He's already next to God in his ability even if he dives!
"If I had to pay for one player I would choose him.
"In Madrid we'd welcome him with open arms. I don't think he'd have problems adapting to any team in the world. Players of his quality fit in anywhere, esp in the diving part!"Looks like Madrid need a little "cheat code" of football eh?
Funny thing is RVN & Heinze should shld know how to dive since they are from MU.
Maybe they hv forgotten since joining Madrid, that's why have the dive master C.ron to teach them again!

It's not a one-off. Who knows in the future there may be a coach who's like Jose, & lead the team to kick a diving team like ManU again to oblivion!
